We couldn't have done it without you! Thank you for joining us as we celebrated another successful campaign year with donations made by you that will make a great impact on our Maui
Community through the work of our 39 Partner Agency Programs!
Mahalo to Lt. Gov. Josh Green who was our Guest Speaker; and to Sandy Baz for speaking on behalf of Maui County, and performing the Invocation.
Mahalo awards were given to outstanding businesses, agencies, and indiviuals who had contributed to MUW's mission of empowering our Maui Community. The award winners and their categories are
as follows: Outstanding Foundation - Bendon Family Foundation; Community Builder Award - Maui Electric (Hawaiian Electric); Corporate Contributor of the Year - Sentry Insurance; Bank of the
Year - First Hawaiian Bank; Partner Agency of the Year - Hana Arts; Campaign of the Year - Goodfellow Bros., Inc.; Campaign Award of Excellence - HC&D; Campaign Excellence Award -
Enterprise Holdings; Board Member of the Year - Ellen Nashiwa; and The Hand Up Award - Nuestro Futuro Foundation.
We installed our new incoming officers, recognizing Simon Poole of Goodfellow Bros., Inc. as Board Chairman; Dr. Luke Bailey of Hawaii Gas as Vice Chairman; Lalaine Manlapao of First
Hawaiian Bank as Treasurer; and Ellen Nashiwa of Hawaiian Electric as Secretary. Mahalo to Judge Cahill for perfoming the Installation.
We also promoted ourTools for School supply drive at our luncheon, which brought in many supplies that we can distribute through our partner agencies, so that keiki can have a good start to
the next school year. Mahalo for your donations!
