@paupilisaturdays at Lahaina United Methodist Church is Maui Emotional Resilience Collective’s response to ongoing emotional and economic recovery needs of Maui’s community. These events nurture safe, culturally grounded and inclusive spaces for residents affected by the 2023 Maui wildfires. Join us this Saturday to engage in collective healing, storytelling and rebuilding. Recovery resources, local vendors, Maui artists and community members come together this Saturday, Sept. 19 from 10 am to 5 pm.
Nonprofit leaders, have questions about Ola Maui Nui Grant funding opportunity? ⁠ We plan to invest up to $2.7 million in FY26–27 through the Ola Maui Nui Grant program. Eligible nonprofits serving communities across Maui, Molokaʻi and Lānaʻi may request up to $100,000 to support programs, services and initiatives.⁠ ⁠ Join us for a virtual information session on Sept. 17 at 10 a.m. to learn more about our Ola Maui Nui Grant opportunity. Kaibigan ng Lahaina is a nonprofit organization founded by Lāhainā-raised Filipinos to support Lāhainā’s fire-impacted immigrant community, particularly those of Filipino descent. They provide wraparound recovery services: case management, resource navigation, direct aid and more. Their mission envisions a resilient and thriving, immigrant-inclusive Lāhainā that celebrates diverse heritages, fostering a future where every resident feels a deep sense of belonging.⁠

The Ola Maui Nui Grant is officially open! Maui United Way anticipates investing up to $2.7 million in FY27 to strengthen the recovery, stability, health and long-term resilience of communities across Maui, Molokai and Lānaʻi.
