Should a disaster strike, it is estimated that Maui, Molokai and Lānaʻi has only a 7-day commercial food supply. Maui Emergency Feeding Taskforce is preparing the islands for Day 8 and beyond so that organizations have access to better data and research to improve food security. An estimated 40 percent of the county’s population is already considered food insecure. This program focuses on these core areas.
