Our mission is to bridge resources that enrich and empower our County of Maui Community.
Maui Fire Disaste Relief
We are working to meet the needs via fast-tracked grant approvals to existing grassroots organizations that are local and focused on basic
needs. All of our work is guided by a deep desire to increase equity and decrease long-standing disparities for communities, including the AAPI populations, especially Native Hawaiian
and Pacific Islander populations. And 100% of the donations to Maui United Way stay in Hawaii.
We pair people in need with agencies and programs to help solve the health and human service challenges they face.
Volunteer Matching
We connect people interested in donating their time and talents to serve the community with volunteer opportunities. See the GET INVOLVED link to become a Maui United Way volunteer or click
on VolunteerHawaii to find other volunteer opportunities.
Fund Distribution
We convene community residents and business leaders to efficiently and effectively fund our health and human services partner agencies. We are seeking interested Maui County residents and
business leaders to discuss needs, review grant applications, make agency site visits, deliberate on appropriate resource distributions, and explore ways to improve community conditions.
Annual Campaign Help
We are always seeking to build our volunteer network to assist in preparing and executing various annual campaign activities. Expanding our volunteer network to help boost the annual giving
campaign.

Gifts In-Kind
Cleaning out furniture, computers or office supplies? Donate where it is needed most! Often times, financial support is not the only assistance non-profit organizations need. Through the
Gifts In-Kind program, Maui United Way acquires donated items such as computers, personal care products, entertainment tickets, and clothing from local and national businesses, and
distributes them to health and human service agencies throughout Maui. We accept various In-Kind donations to support our partner agencies.
